Acadia – Northern Lights
In October 2024, I finally had my first opportunity to see the northern lights in Maine. The display took place while I was in Acadia National Park, and I was treated to some subtle yet stunning pink and green hues. Although it wasn’t the brightest show, the pictures came out great.

Nepal – Orange Collection
My Nepal – Orange Collection consists entirely of photos taken from my bedroom at the time. They were captured in September, shortly after I arrived in Nepal, during late monsoon season. A storm was about to sweep through the Kathmandu Valley, with thunder reverberating among the mountains long before the first signs of rain. When the rain finally came, it was the heaviest I’ve ever seen, all to last only 15 minutes or so.
As the rain eased, birds emerged to celebrate, flocking to their usual evening gathering spot—a park in the center of town. For a brief moment, the mountains encircling the valley were joined by shifting clouds, like new faces appearing, before the storm moved on to its next destination.

Nepal – Sunrise Flight
Music: A Calf Born In Winter – Khruangbin
During my time in Nepal, I got the chance to take a trip into the Himalayas to do some solo trekking. My journey started with a van ride at 1 a.m. from Kathmandu. We arrived at the airport at 5 a.m. I was lucky that my flight was right at sunrise. Although it was a bumpy flight, the views were unbeatable…
Nepal – Blue & White Collection
During my time in Nepal I was fortunate enough to get to spend 6 days trekking in the Himalays. I did the first part of the Everest Base Camp trek solo. Growing up at sea level this was the first time I ever experienced shortness of breath from altitude. Slow and steady proved to be the optimal method. The people I met, food I ate, and views I saw were all unforgettable.
Working without color…
Most of my photography relies heavily on color to define its character. However, sometimes I prefer to let lighting and composition take the lead. Here are some of my recent black-and-white works.
